“I’m very happy to be here
again as I have not been to Malaysia for over 30 years.
“I can't wait for the chance to eat fish head
curry,” the veteran singer of hit song Poon Kan
Pat Leong told fans outside KL International Airport
yesterday.
The Sam Hui Live in Malaysia 2005 concert at Bukit
Jalil Outdoor Stadium tomorrow and Sunday will be Hui's
first concert in Malaysia. He will be joined by his
sons Ryan and Scott, and elder brother, Ricky.

Hui, 56, showed that he had not lost the golden touch where
his fans are concerned.
“Sam, Sam” shouted the few hundred fans who pushed
to get closer to him as he emerged from the VIP lounge at
7pm clad in a flower-printed shirt over a white T-shirt with
a tiger motif.
“Wish you all long ma jing shen (blessed with energy
of a horse and dragon), man shi sheng yi (whatever happens
is what you wish for in your heart) and continue to have the
God of Fortune and looi (money),” he said.
Asked what he wanted to say to his fans, Hui said he would
make sure that those who attended the concerts would have
a “crazy time and go home happy.”
Hui has been out of the entertainment limelight for 12 years.
He made his comeback last year with his “Keep on Smiling”
concerts in Hong Kong.
Last week, he performed a six-night Chinese New Year show
at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
His concert here is presented by Pan Malaysia Pools with
Sunway Lagoon Resort and Galaxy Production as joint organisers.
The official radio station is 98.8 while Malaysia Airlines
